I've been using weewx for uploading my Ambient WS-2080's data to Weather Underground for years. Love how the pi just runs and sends the data.
A week or so ago, it stopped syncing. I can usually resolve that by a reboot. Not this time. Generally it looked like the weather station wasn't communicating - FOUSB errors, etc. Actions taken: I reset the weather station and pulled the batteries multiple times. Disconnected USB, factory reset the WS, restarted, etc. Finally started monkeying with the weewx.conf file until I fouled that up completely. Did a full update/upgrade on the pi, uninstalled weewx, reinstalled, redid the config. Not 100% sure everything is where it should be in the pi directory structure, but weewx runs and must see the config because it's trying to get data from the WS. Starting to think maybe the weather station console is the actual issue.
