Yes, I did this test to verify everything and it works. But I have the ASUS RT-AC68U router and there is not or at least I do not find any iptables. For the moment I would not replace the original firmware with the AsusWRT-Merlin, since I have two routers of the same model with AiMesh, and replacing it then I do not know if it works well. However I am doing further tests. I've already tried the sniffer method and weewx crashes, but as I told you I'm still running tests. I'll let you know.
