OK, I figured it for the scroller text - it doesn't like a comma (,) in the
text.
I now have it running and picking up local time, by adding this to the
[RealtimegaugeData] in weewx.conf
[[Text]]
text = Real Time Gauges - Local Time is %H:%M - Next gauge update
in...
