I am venturing forth into getting a new Pi5 with Trixie set up to
install a fresh, experimental, version of WeeWx5.
Some time ago it was recommended that the virtual environment should be
used.
I found a note from Tom from Oct 31, 2022 on some steps to make sure all
the necessary parts were in place before starting this install.
This was the only set of instructions I found that was step by step,
which I definitely need to follow carefully.
Question:
Is that still the best way to get the virtual environment installed or
are there updates which make it easier or must be done to make current
releases work?
