bathroom? Now there are signs saying no unpurchased merchandise in

Mythbusters had a segment on fecal coliform bacteria and its
prevalence in different parts of the bathroom. They did their test
by exposing toothbrushes to the bathroom air environment, placed all
over, and they used all the toothbrushes during the experiment, to
see how far the bacteria could spread. Bottom (ha!) line was that
fecal coliform bacteria was everywhere, even in the control
toothbrushes placed in the kitchen.
