It has nothing to do with "paying him back." It has to do with
desires. If you don't want to sleep with someone, don't put yourself
in a situation where you are sharing a bed. No matter how much you
want the trip they are offering, if you accept a 1-bed situation and
don't make it clear that it is a strictly platonic venture, then you
are leading him on.
This is different from feeling like you "owe" him something because he
spent money on you. That is prostitution, which is perfectly fine in
its own right, but not what we are discussing here.
