Would you be more upset if you weren't invited? Or if they did something like my husband and I did... We called out parents on Wednesday and told them we were getting married on Friday. If they could make it Great if not...SORRY. Now that is selfish.
My guess it they might have seen it as a GREAT excuse for everyone to take a longer holiday weekend and spend time with family.
You can't change it now - you can only choose to go and enjoy those extra days in Denver or go and brood over it the whole time.
In does sort of suck but in the GRAND SCHEME of thing it could be much much worse.

Am I being ridiculous? Or this is inconsiderate and selfish on their part? (They are having it on Thursday because it is 4x cheaper to rent the reception site they want.)
