I actually want to get married on a Thursday which is why I was LOL'ing when I read this.  Now mind you I have no boyfriend or fiance right now but I thought of how I really don't want a big wedding and I am one of those people who hate leaving anyone out so a Thursday wedding would be better for me since people have to work so I can avoid inviting the co-workers and church members (who assume they are invited whether they get an invite or not).  I have also warned my family and close friends that they will need to take off to attend since it will be a Thursday afternoon not because of cost but to keep it small and have more time for my honeymoon.

Here's a fun topic in lieu of a Gene chat today.

Am I justified in being thoroughly and completely pissed off that my brother and his fiancee have scheduled their wedding on a THURSDAY?  In Denver?  Which means everyone coming from out of town has to take a minimum of two days off?  The Thursday before Memorial Day weekend?  And I'm in the wedding party, so theoretically I'll have to arrive there on Wednesday; and use 30% of my annual leave to go to this?

Am I being ridiculous?  Or this is inconsiderate and selfish on their part?  (They are having it on Thursday because it is 4x cheaper to rent the reception site they want.)

Seriously. W.T.F.
