i hafta say - i'm a glass-half-full kinda girl so, that being said, i would say having the wedding on thurs seems like kinda a good idea - that way you don't hafta cram everything into a two day weekend and show up to work on monday exhausted... now you get to come back on, when? sat? and have sun to unpack and relax... (but then my best friend lives in denver so i'd love to have as much time as possible to spend w/her so i'd love being in that situation)
as for ms. (soon to be mrs.) bridezilla - i kinda have a similar situation but it's not my brother - it's my cousin with whom i am quite close. but i can't stand his fiance - and IF i get invited to the wedding... i'm prolly not gonna go...
