I've never heard Maury Povich pronounce his name, but I know someone with the last name "Maury", and they pronounce it "Maw-ree", which is quite different from "mah-ree". I pronounce the "mah" sound the same way I say "baaaa" when....well, never mind when, that's between me and Congressman Foley.

And I pronounce do, due, and doo all the same, except I might end the (exact same) vowel sound a fraction of a second sooner when saying "do".
