I could be wrong, but I think Gordon worked there as a teenager and after high
school he kept working there and getting more and more responsibility until he
was eventually given the opportunity to buy the place - the Pattersons gave him
a loan to accomplish this.
I believe the car dealership was an addition to his business later on.
Anthony was hired as his accountant.
