indeed, I think from a developper point of view, KHTML is really easy
to use cause it has a very nice and simple API. As an example  Amarok,
KTorrent and many other added embedded KHTML to their app. This can be
done in very few lines of codes. Here you can find more info about it:

also note that KDE developers  plan to implement a complete OS X
Dashboard compatibility layer to KHTML, which might be use for some
cool wengo widgets :D

I'm don't know if Gecko is as easy to use though.
