Details:

In a game I played, teams were 1122, but status table said they were
"South-West,North-East,North-East,South-West" (translated, IIRC). (Yes, this
was Isar's.)

I don't think just switching teams around in the create game screen causes
this (?), so I suspect an edited scenario file by the host, but I haven't
checked if that's possible. I'm sorry I can't provide more information.

(As this was 1.2.4, I have to add there was no fog, so all players'
information was shown.)

In any case, creating such confusion _shouldn't_ be possible, and the *text*
and actual team *numbers* should always agree. If you can't ensure the name
is correct, even using a plain number for the teams in the status table would
be better.

(See bug #8919 for another way to create confusion in players.)
