but on this particular one, I am not convinced I should reopen it...
Use map settings actually avoids the confusion, it's a big red light saying:
"Beware, settings aren't guaranteed, you should ask the host what's going
on"
it's not misleading, it's telling the player that the game doesn't know the
settings.
