Details:
As is good practice, I installed the game as an administrator and want to run
it in a non-admin account. It runs, but does not save files. Additionally,
it also moans every turn that it can't autosave. One warning per session
would be enough; the others are just irritating.
The game should save files in a per-user account, by default at least. (I
gather from another bug report that a patch is being developed for this, but
I didn't see a bug report specifically requesting this. Please consider this
as another vote for this fix).
[Actually, the reason I want this is because I'm introducing my 9-year old
son to the game and I prefer him to be logged in with admin privileges. I
hope I may be able to use some of the Python bits of the game to introduce
him to programming, although I haven't yet looked to see how feasible that
will be.]
