Follow-up Comment #6, bug #11584 (project wesnoth):
Well, I didn't get my own build by now^^
- I use only Vista firewall and an external router.
- winsock32 is availiable
I tried Wesnoth 1.2.8 to see, if this Version had the same problem. It worked
without problems.
Then I found new executables on sourceforge (1.4.2 instead of my old 1.4.1) I
downloaded and tried -> server run. I tried my old 1.4.1 server exe and it
started without bluescreen but with an appcrashreport (stderr.txt empty). So
I replaced it with the 1.4.2 exe and now 1.4.2 does the same appcrash thing.
I'll just get rid of the whole old data and download the complete 1.4.2
Version -> i'll report, whether it works or not.
I still can't understand, why the 1.4.2 exe first worked and then didn't.
