Heh, guess what happened when I googled for 'taskeng blue screen' ;)
Apparently this beauty can crash on anything from RAM problems, trough driver
isues to using RSS feeds :) If you're willing to do some more tests see

and try to disable the tasks one by one to check which one nukes your
computer. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with wesnoth, I'd guess one of
these tasks tries to force communication with wesnothd and clones itself for
each failed attempt causing the PC to run of resources and bluescreen.
Anyway, Upstream Problem, we'll add a word of caution to further relases.
