No, I don't think so. We don't ship full python with wesnoth, just a version
of C API that can be used to hook to an existing python installation on the
users machine. Which brings up a simple problem : most windows users do not
have python. So using a python library would only solve problem for the
minority that do have it, all the rest would still suffer.
This makes the gain from hooking ptyhon library into languages support
neliglible and much smaller than effort involved.
