Follow-up Comment #7, bug #15882 (project wesnoth):
Still no luck in reproducing it. Just in case I was doing something wrong, I
even ran it in 8 bpp and it worked fine without any glitches (damn ugly, but
nonetheless fine, see attached screenshot). So I'm not sure what's wrong with
your configurations, perhaps a broken X or SDL.
