Follow-up Comment #8, bug #15882 (project wesnoth):
to really test it you ll need an old monitor that can only do 800x600x16bpp
I also dont see the bug if I have a 24 bpp monitor , and the 16 bpp options
It seems that If the monitor is able to print the 24 bppp color, it will
work, whatever 16 bpp options are in wesnoth and xorg
