Follow-up Comment #15:

Hi There Scaeb!

Thanks a ton for the info. I've managed to get in touch on a "virtual" mac os
too. I've got the same permission denied stuff and other java vm stuff, but
couldn't get it sorted. I was trying to set the executable on wesnoth_umc.app
file (since, I am not familiar with mac architecture).

I'll take a look into the log file.

In the meantime, how do you set the executable flag on mac? Just like on
linux? If I can do that for my self I can properly debug.
 chmod +x blablabla ?

Also, coming to the point that logs are created by eclipse is a *HUGE* step.
Since that is far more familiar for me, and I'll be able to better solve it.

I'll try to build the plugin from within linux, maybe that will set the
executable flag. (Also, I see there was a bug regarding that:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=282260 )

Yes, getting the executable flag done right is first priority.

Thanks again and I'll keep you updated on the progress.

PS: DO you have 32bit macos? Because I've talked in #wesnoth-dev channel with
another mac user and he got the 1.0.2 standalone version working. But he is
using 64 bit MAC.

Thanks,
Timo
