Follow-up Comment #5, bug #22967 (project wesnoth):
Just a comment: I think we could have caught these issues earlier if we had
some filesystem unit tests. I think this was proposed on irc once, and my
response was like "we can't test if it is working cross platform though..."
but obviously it would have been much better if the packagers could have run
such tests in advance of release... so I was wrong, it was actually a very
good idea.
