Follow-up Comment #8, bug #21801 (project wesnoth):
slowthinker, can you comment on whether this is still an issue for you at the
moment? On my Penryn 2.5 GHz laptop I only notice a load time of maybe a
second. Granted, it's a faster system than your Conroe 1.8 GHz (I'm guessing
you meant GHz, not MHz) but I don't think it would be six times faster unless
there is something else going on in this issue besides CPU processing power.
