I'll just put a clarification on #2 for yourself and others. One of the reasons that I pushed so hard for the holy change was that the base damage type was stripped of its religious connotations. By giving it a non-denominational character, you could then apply it to a wider category of effects, which may be denominational themselves. In the case of the White mage, the way to becoming a master of using the arcane damage type "light beam" (which I argue should be renamed holy beam as its specific attack) was through piety and presumably the church. This does not mean we are all religious or support, rather a acknowledgment that this setting is based off of a feudal era and that the church played a role then. If anything, giving arcane damage to other factions actually shows that there are many paths to becoming proficient in this damage type. I think it would give greater character to the faction, which isn't a bad thing.

For #3 are you saying that we should not have a remerging of the lines at lvl2?

1) I can live with Arcane damage
2) It seems odd to move Holy damge -> Arcane damage and then move the
white mage's name to a more religious one. I would prefer either
keeping the current white mage name.
I can live with the apprentice mage, mage, master mage, arch mage line.
3) I really have no opinion on the matter, except that we really
should not share artwork in mainline between two different unit types.
If both the normal apprentice mage and woodland mage level into the
same mage unit at level 2 that is fine, but if they are two different
units, then I think there is a problem.

Finally, I don't really care too much. These are only suggestions, so
do as you will.
