Okay, I did just create some screenshots of a "worst case scenario" with 
snow forest as background (using the mission "northern winter" from 
httt). I think in such a scenario we really need a high opaque value, no 
idea how much it changes with a blur effect. We might still have to stay 
with 80%...
So that you easier can reproduce it, I did upload a testsavegame 
(cheated all the way until there...), too. Just extract the save and 
test yourself.
