My summer this year isn't going to be nearly as simple as it was last year
(between going on holiday for 3 weeks, moving house at least once, exams,
possibly doing extra clinical placement and job hunting), but preliminarily, I
would register my interest once again.

My proposal, which I'll put up in more detail later, would comprise finishing
off the remaining stuff from last year that remains on my list (2 sets of Drake
animations, 2 Drake portraits, Gryphon Rider portrait), and then give some
major art and animation love to the Kalifa (or whatever the finalised name for
them turned out to be) in preparation for testing them out in mainline and/or
as part of my own ongoing (and soon to be revealed, hopefully) UMC project -
this would consist of both animations and portraits, but in what quantities etc
would have to be determined later on.

On that note, I still anticipate (hopefully, University work permitting) having
the remaining few Kalifa base frames done by month end (4 remain to do, plus at
least one set of cleaning up and fixing.

On a more general note, I'm sure that we could find a few animators among the
up-and-coming artists who might benefit from such a scholarship. We have a
number of people with great potential who I'd dearly love to see able to put in
some quality work.
