Dear Patrick, I could really feel what it was like having gone through this tragedy, having seen and studied the pictures you posted. My prayers to you and other bereaved family members that it's only God who has the answers to why this had to happen. Please accept my sincere condolences. Aggrey Adrale

Just from the look of the accident pictures, I can see that it God's grace that there could even be some survivors in this accident. May the Loving God, who is our only protector grant them Peace in his Eternal house and this really makes one realize how easy it is for one to not think of tomorrow since we are not sure of what today has in store for us. Take Courage and This is our destiny in Life even if it is at different times. God Bless you all in this sorrowful moment. This accident happened on Friday last week at around 8.pm on Karuma-off Gulu rd. 13 km while 12 of my relatives were taking the body of one relative who died from Entebbe ( Late Tabu) for burial in Maracha, Tara sub county – Kololo. A double cabin was provided by Nakasongola District Local Government through Late Azaga – district health officer Nakasongola ( he too died in the accident) to take the first dead body for burial. The driver crushed into a stationary trailer, crashing all the 9 beyond recognition. Great thanks to Mr. James Nyakuni(Gaagaa Coaches) and Mr. Embati( California Bus service) who helped to transport mourners from Arua, Maracha and Koboko; Arua District LC 5 – Maracha -Nyakuni , Women MP Maracha District Hon Lamatia Ruth who was the chief mourner , and all those who mourned with us. Thousands of people gathered for the joint funeral service that was done at Kololo Primary school. 3 survivors were taken to Atapara health centre, now in Lacor Hospital in critical condition, now recovering. The main cause of the accident(according to Police) was high speed coupled with drink driving. The driver survived, and no were to be seen as yet. The Major will be buried today by the UPDF, and one private will be buried tomorrow. May the souls of the deceased Rest in Eternal Peace.
