Buscha, I quite agree with your concerns about the Muni University. Discussions about this University was intense in 2009 or 2010, if my memory is correct. I had submitted that instead of the University, that money should have been used to improve the primary and secondary schools in West Nile that are failing most of our kids. If most of our kids are failing in primary and secondary schools I do not know who are the kids that will be going to the University if the kids in West Nile have the kind of results that arose emotions as in the recent past discussion on this forum. Since the University is ready to start, we can hope that it is an Institution with quality facilities that can provide quality education. I do not think it is even possible to compare the situation in Muni to that of Kyambogo University as Kyambogo was probably established from a much better institution of higher learning compared to Muni . I do not know what the situation is like in Kyambogo University, but I would think that perhaps Muni's condition is perhaps even worse than that of Kyambogo. Let hope the administrators will do their best to make the University a quality institution of higher learning. Vasco
