1) yes its possible. In V8 there is an SMS alert option I believe (was released as plug-in beta during V7). If you are running V7, you can configure SMS as a pager alert, you just need to know a bit about the protocols used by the call centre you are sending the messages through.
2) no, WUG runs its own web server. But you can reconfigure it to run on a different port. It will then quite happily co-exist on the same platform as IIS, Apache or whatever you've already got on port 80.
