I use this quite extensively. Get the latest mib file from apc. load it into
wug with mibextra. Then you can set up services for the specific mib value
you query. On battery state for example. if it does not return the value you
are looking for it would be down. Once you look thru the text file that
explains the mib values you can set up all the important things you are
looking for.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] What's UP and APC Smart UPS

I want to monitor my APC Smart UPS for power failure notifications.
Currently my APC will email me if I have a power failure; however, I
want my What's Up to monitor the UPS and when a power failure is
detected (on battery) have What's Up send me a page instead of having
the APC send an email. Anyone know how to monitor the status of the APC
(on battery, discharged, battery needs replacing, etc)?

Thanks in advance.

Adam
