One way I'm looking at doing it is monitoring input line voltage. I downloaded the mips off the internet and setting up the item in What's up to monitor the input line voltage. I'm running a Symmetra UPS running on a 220V 30 Amp circuit. I would think that if you loaded the mips into What's up then you could monitor the input line voltage and watch it for a certain value (<=110) or so. I have not implemented this as of yet, I'm still working on monitoring SNMP with What's up but in theory it should work.

Oh ya, I did this after compiling the APC MIBs into WUG. Currently my APC will email me if I have a power failure; however, I want my What's Up to monitor the UPS and when a power failure is detected (on battery) have What's Up send me a page instead of having the APC send an email. Anyone know how to monitor the status of the APC (on battery, discharged, battery needs replacing, etc)? Thanks in advance.
