RE: [WhatsUp Forum] 8.01 Patch released

When installing the patch, I get a popup window that says "Patch Warning - Missing or Invalid Registry/INI entry" with an OK/Cancel.  If I cancel the update aborts, if I click OK, I get "Patch Error - Old File does not exist" After clicking OK the patch installer quits.  Verified, and I *am* running 8.01.

 

Help?

Just a quick note to let you know that the patch that fixes those pesky WhatsUp Gold 8.x memory leaks is now available for general distribution. 

 

Here's what the patch does--

 

Fixes Buffer overrun in SNMPGrph.exe

Fixes a memory leak that occurred during polling (SNMPGrph.exe)

Fixes a memory leak when monitoring Windows Events (WinEvnt.exe)
