Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: core Group: 1.1 Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: tyrhant (tyrhant) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Introduce dummy tag Initial Comment: I want some dummy tag that can be used instead of div or span. Currently, my code is like this <span wicket:id="list"> <span wicket:id="label" /><br /> </span> and I call setRenderBodyOnly(true) in Java side for "list" component. If we have dummy wicket tag, I can write <wicket:dummy wicket:id="list"> <span wicket:id="label" /><br /> </wicket:dummy> and just setStripWicketTag(true) does the job, right? I think this way is better for Java-HTML separation than using setRenderBodyOnly() method. The name "dummy" may be not a nice one. Please give it some better name. That's it.
