Speaking for the Marvel and DC Databases, I whole-heartedly agree. In fact, I think that 'top-content' box should be more of an opt-in, than an opt-out choice.
I have changed our sidebar so many times now, trying to find the _most important_ links for my visitors, both registered and unregistered alike. It is already a difficult challenge to present all the important links without creating a complete cluster#$!@ on the side of the page. Pushing article content too far down the page was the major concern with Quartz (v1). This was resolved by vertically shortening the header. The problem with v2, imho, is the navigation is being pushed too far down, especialy with ads! (Which puts food on Wikia's table, in turn paying for our free hosting, so lets not touch those just yet!) If users want, they can drag and drop widgets, but let's not ram it down their throats unless we have to. :) -- Jamie Hari Editor-in-Chief Marvel & DC Database Projects On 10/5/07, Danny Horn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I completely agree with Derrick.
