Many colleges require community service learning participation. These translations and/or wikifications could be really good projects if they are promoted and managed! Some instructors are having students participate in Project Gutenberg, which as a good setup for volunteer work. I have a lot of students in my online classes who will need educational volunteer projects. I have been looking for English- Chinese or English-Vietnamese translation opportunities as many of these students are multilingual. I'd like to see them contributing to WE to fulfill that requirement. As this is a new project, the student guidelines are being drafted, but here is the work in progress. http://www.wikieducator.org/User:Vtaylor/Community_Service_Learning/Community_service_learning_student_guidelines --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "WikiEducator" group.
