I have recently been to a short presentation of The Connexions project (funded by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation) from Rice University. http://cnx.org I saw some of the mashed-up books and collage material that was produced by the teachers and was quite impressed. The platform looks quite user-friendly as well. Are you familiar with their work in the OER field?
