I think that it is a good idea, for training students how to use WikiEducator.
We have used UNV OV for several years, although our way of doing it is different from how WikiEd will need to do it. Important thing is that we have volunteer coordinators, who guide volunteers through their assignments, encourage them when they show signs of slipping away, and keeping track of who is doing what.
