Hi Elise, UNV is an amazing project and I must congratulate the UNV team and yourself for a prompt response on our list. Much appreciated.
Your website is very clear on the copyright issues and clearly UNV does not hold copyright on the services which volunteers provide. WikiEducator works together as an open education community. All our contributions are licensed openly using Creative Commons licenses which meet the requirements of the free cultural works definition (including the public domain declaration). WE would work together in the wiki (for example http://www.wikieducator.org/UNV ) in preparing a submission for consideration by UNV -- this content will be licensed under our default CC-BY-SA license. Similarly, opportunity descriptions that our community would author will also use open content licenses. I assume the texts of these opportunity descriptions (authored by members of the UNV project) are posted on the UNV site which carries an "all rights reserved" copyright license. To overcome this challenge, on behalf of the OER Foundation and the WikiEducator community, I seek UNV's permission to post any opportunity descriptions authored by our community on the UNV site under a CC-BY-SA license and not under an all rights reserved copyright. Would this be possible?
