I think that Wayne is right to be concerned abut the UNV OV copyright
page. To my mind, however, it refers to only things that are put on
their site, and that would include our ads to recruit volunteers (They
are fussy about how we word them).

I tried to use their logo (a rather boring one however) on our
Community Empowerment site, as a link to their site. I got an email
from them saying I could not use it that way.

What is of issue to us, I would think, is that the volunteers would
run tutorials like our marvelous facilitators do, but for pupils. In
no way would UNV copyright have any say on how that is done or what
our content would be.

Apart from the logo and ad issues, we never got any static from them
in what volunteers recruited through them did for us. They also were
quick to answer questions and provide guidance.

We should also explore other sites, like idealist.org and Charity who
have recruiting services that organizations like WE can use. As I
recall, we have used a half dozen of those, but UNV OV has provided us
with the most volunteers.

Cheers,

Phil
