Hi SJ Thanks for popping in -- I was watching the MP4 debate from afar. A complex set of issues.
A global open solution for server side conversions to open formats and solutions for multiple viewing formats would be super cool. The Wikimedia family have been providing leadership on these issues and I hope that folk from the WikiEducator community will join these discussions. Working together, we can achieve far more than working alone. We're a small community by comparison -- but share similar ideals. Thanks for reaching out and the invite to join the conversation.
