I vouch for the meetup tomorrow. I don't think Skype or other virtual meetups bring out the personal commitment of the members to WMKE. Many of us sacrifice our time, money and jobs to make it to such meetups and we also agree that physical meetups really bring out on-spot solutions. Even on the Wikimedia Community physical meetups are preferred that is why in the first place we have the Chapters Conference the Finance meetup all happening this and next month despite the huge cost implications.
So Meetup way to go...especially for the nominees. If you cannot sacrifice attending WMKEs meetup, would you sacrifice a week for the Chapters Conference? and your personal costs too?
