but on 11th march the mentor said in his comment that he has already found
some strong students for this project.that means from the beginning only
you guys have fixed who will work for you,that is before the student
applications begin.
he also mentioned in his statement that even if you solve microtasks you
would not be selected.I dont deny the fact that the students he has
selected may be good ,but they are not the only potential candidates, there
will always be a lot of candidates better than him. of course the  mentor
is not a god that he will know frm the beginning that who is the best
candidate for this project without actually looking at al the proposals .
even in the official gsoc site in their time line it is mentioned that the
mentors are giving a time period where they look at all the proposals and
find for any duplication.i know you guys are developers but without even
considering a student's proposal you are telling him that you will not be
selected.this can only happen if the either the candidate is very close to
the mentor i.e from his nation or from his family.
