Hmm... that describes something called "Local Security Authority Sub System". How does that map into "LSA Shell export version"? But in any event, ZA definitely reports it as being system32\lsass.exe so I guess that that's it [and whatever string ZA reads to get the 'name' of the process must've delivered up that strange name. But that leads to another question: why would it suddenly need to act as a server? [after all this time]? I notice that I have ZA set up so that 'transmitting' is OK, but 'server' is <ask me> [and, indeed, ZA did..:o)]. From what I read in the article, it looks like I could deny it all network access entirely and it'd be OK, yes? /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- WIN-HOME Archives: http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/WIN-HOME.html Contact the List Owner about problems: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unofficial Win-Home List Members Profiles Page http://winhome.wavijo.com/
