No one said they would use computers.  I just assumed that would be the
case.  Counting the ballots by hand several times, after having moved them
from polling stations hundreds of kilometres apart seems pretty archaic in
these days of networks and computers (my opinion anyway).

I went to a meeting where the speaker was on the Citizens Committee which
drafted and approved the concept.  He couldn't answer my question, choosing
only to say that in Ireland (some years ago) they were done by hand.  This
is "nuts" in my opinion.

Do you know something that I don't know?
