Kevin No one said they would use computers. I just assumed that would be the case. Counting the ballots by hand several times, after having moved them from polling stations hundreds of kilometres apart seems pretty archaic in these days of networks and computers (my opinion anyway).
I went to a meeting where the speaker was on the Citizens Committee which drafted and approved the concept. He couldn't answer my question, choosing only to say that in Ireland (some years ago) they were done by hand. This is "nuts" in my opinion. Do you know something that I don't know? Al What me - believe Gordon????? :-} [For those of you who don't know, he's the premier of our Province, and opinions about how good a job he's doing vary widely]. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Lee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Hi Al, > > Where and when did they say they'll use computer for voting?
