IT realy depends on what tier level service that you intend to buy like for
instance Comcast
for the Business user has three tier levels suited to a particular business
needs and they
are Comcast Teleworker, Small Business and HospitalityONE.

Comcast Teleworker provides the remote employee with a faster corporate
quality high-speed connection

Small Business for the worker who's on the go and needs to connect to the office

HospitalityONE High-Speed Internet solutions for the hospitality industry

Comcast HSI (High-Speed Internet) For the Home user with DL speed of 3 to 4
GBps speed varies
with area locations and ISP handling equipment capacity (headend).

IMHO I've been using Comcast HSI since 2001 and I find it much faster than DSL
after I made the switch
from my old Verizon DSL service. I although I have been experiencing a few
spotty connect and disconnect
issues since Comcast is still in the process of rolling upgrades at their
headends for the past few months.

Those issues over the past few days are getting less noticable now and I have a
more stable always-on connection. Like I've said once you go to cable my friend
you'll never go back to DSL like you would never go back to dialup from DSL.

But since have been using cable I'll say this IMHO Cable (depends on which ISP)
makes Verizon DSL look like plain 56kbps dailup. :P

OMG, I had no idea that you meant that it was THAT MUCH faster! I didn't
realize that you meant as faster to DSL as DSL is to dialup! Now how
reliable is cable vs. dsl in a biz environment?
