Time and time again we've seen what happens when users are expected to keep updated - they forget.
When one forgets their seat belt many times they get tickets. Guess what? Eventually they learn to wear their seat belts unless they have a vehicle that has automatic seat belts. Gee, I wish the car would start as soon as I sat in the seat too because I don't have time to find my keys. I suppose one just has to make time for the important things.
Before there were electric starter motors, cars had to be cranked manually
to start the engine. Who wants to go back to that? The more you can automate routine stuff, the better off you are. Car keys will become obsolete
in the not too distant future.
