I'm trying to get my at-home wireless net going. I have the routing stuff working just fine -- my laptop DHCP's from my desktop and can route through my desktop out to the internet. That part all looks good. BUT: I can't get DNS to work. My laptop is trying to use my desktop for its DNS server, which is just fine, but it isn't working: it just times out.
Do I need to do something to get DNS to work? [DHCP, by contrast, just magically came up by itself when my laptop tried to connect, so that part is great]. /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- WIN-HOME Archives: http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/WIN-HOME.html Contact the List Owner about problems: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unofficial Win-Home List Members Profiles Page http://winhome.wavijo.com/
