Nope, I just fired up the laptop, it told me that its wireless connection came up, it seems to have gotten an IP addr via DHCP from my desktop [which has the internet connection it is sharing]... and the laptop can get OUT to the internet [via my desktop], but DNS isn't working. I did an IP config and my desktop has set the laptop to use itself [the desktop] for the DNS server, but it seems not to be working.. /B\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- WIN-HOME Archives: http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/WIN-HOME.html Contact the List Owner about problems: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unofficial Win-Home List Members Profiles Page http://winhome.wavijo.com/
