Could you post a page that fails the most?
Do you have something running in the background?
(I consistently run UD Agent for grid.org)
What are your system specs?
What versions of IE and FireFox?
The browser may be timing out trying to render
large amounts of data, such as database tables.

It does seem to be ALL browsers at the moment. At least, IE and firefox. I
don't have Netscape. I'll try opera later if I can.
I haven't installed SP2 because I'm afraid to. But I do allow other MS
updates.
I don't think I have any plugins.
Java sites seem to be working fine -- I had an encounter with a big and
complex one yesterday and it worked perfectly.
Also, it's worth repeating that all of this is an intermittent problem.
Sometimes everything is great, then all of a sudden nothing works right.
