The point of the post was that Winzip will no longer be free after a period of
21 days
wether or not if anyone uses i. I use WinZip and PkZip either or if I choose to
use it.
I have the last free version of WinZip 9.0 before it went play or pay. You'll
still be able to get the free patches but now you'll no longer be able to get
free upgrades of the full product. It'll cost you $29.95 to get the next
version if you so choose. Otherwise if you don't want to pay then use another
zip utility of your choice. BMG. ;)

They will have even more competition in this field than they did when they

Corel (WordPerfect and CorelDRAW). Me, I prefer PentaZip rather than WinZip. :-)
